ICON Medical Imaging Strengthens Management TeamDoylestown, PA, April 16th, 2007 – ICON Medical Imaging, a division of ICON Plc (NASDAQ: ICLR), a global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, announced today that it is strengthening its management team in three key positions.
Kim Scanlan has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Clinical Operations. In this role Ms Scanlan will continue to develop and lead key project functions. Ms Scanlan will also have broader responsibility for strengthening services and implementing strategic initiatives, working closely with clients, regulatory authorities, and other ICON divisions to ensure ICON Medical Imaging deliver high quality imaging services.
David La Point has been named Senior Vice President of Client Services. Mr. La Point will focus on developing strategic initiatives and leading the internal consulting group to enhance client relationships through client services and empowering technologies.
Jean Frissora has joined ICON Medical Imaging as Vice President of Sales. Ms Frissora will be responsible for continuing the growth of the sales effort and to expand ICON Medical Imaging’s presence in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and CRO industries.
